Chairman's Tribute - Ipswich Town News
Town chairman David Sheepshanks has paid tribute to vice-president Ken Brightwell who has died after a long illness.
Sheepshanks told the club site: "Ken was a devoted supporter of our club from childhood to his dying day and will be greatly missed.
"I had the pleasure of serving on the club's board alongside him between 1987 and 1995 and found Ken to be a very knowledgeable man in both football and business.
"He has been a great servant to our club and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time."
