Robinson Cherries Trial - Ipswich Town News
Released academy striker Matt Robinson is set for a trial with Second Division AFC Bournemouth. Robinson, beset by injuries last season, was allowed to leave Portman Road earlier this month after being given a three-month contract in the summer.
Former Town boss George Burley recently took Robinson to Derby for a trial, but despite a goal for their reserves against the Blues' second string, the Rams are not looking to follow up their interest.
Robinson will be reunited with former academy front man Alan Connell at Dean Court.
