Pullen Loan Confirmed - Ipswich Town News

Free transfer-listed keeper James Pullen has joined Peterborough United on a one month loan. It is likely that the deal will be made permanent if the 21-year-old impresses at London Road.

Pullen says he aims to win a first team place: "I am down the order at Ipswich and have been given a free transfer, so obviously they want me off the books there and it is time to move on.

"I joined Dagenham and Redbridge [on loan] and enjoyed my time there, but thankfully I got the call to come and join Posh and I am looking forward to it.

"I get on well with Mark Tyler and I just hope we can both push each other for that first team place.

"At the end of the day we are both fighting for the one spot and whoever gets it has done well. I am not settling for second choice, I want to be number one.

"Hopefully, I can get my chance in the LDV Vans Trophy on Tuesday night."
