Striker Pablo Couñago will have a scan on his injured hamstring today to assess the extent of the damage. The Spaniard picked up the injury backheeling a ball after half an hour at Pride Park on Saturday.

Blues' boss Joe Royle will hope it is nothing serious, an addition to the lengthy injury list being the last thing he would want at present.
