Town striker Dean Bowditch is one of a number of promising youngsters reported over the weekend to be interesting Chelsea.

Bowditch, 17, is mentioned along with Derby's 16-year-old midfielder Lee Holmes, Sunderland's Grant Leadbitter, 17, and Norwich striker Ryan Jarvis, who is 18.

Derby have denied hearing anything from Chelsea regarding Holmes and the story appears to be purely paper talk.
