Joe No to Greek - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle has again denied interest in Arsenal centre-half Efstathios Tavlaridis. Royle first refuted a link with the 23-year-old in September, however the player's agent, Clive Hart, revived the story yesterday, talking up a potential loan.
Royle admits that he spoke with Hart but says things won't go any further: "It is true that the player's agent spoke to me on Friday, but that's what agents do when they want to find a club for their clients.
"Tavlaridis is a good player but I don't intend using one of the loans available to us on him."
