Marshall: Wolves Too Big - Ipswich Town News
Town keeper Andy Marshall sid that Wolves were too big a club to turn down after agreeing to join them on a one month loan. The stopper starts his spell at Molineux next Monday.
Marshall was originally set to join Wimbledon until Dave Jones' club came in for him, a move Marshall couldn't refuse: "I would have gone to Wimbledon because I wanted to play and I have a lot of time for Stuart Murdoch. But Wolves were too big a club to say no to and I hope Stuart understands that."
The switch to Wolves rather than Wimbledon works out better for Town with the Midlanders picking up a larger proportion of Marshall's wages - thought to be around £15,000-a-week - than the Dons could afford.
