Knavs the Man - Ipswich Town News
It seems the left-sided defender reported as likely to sign for Town this week is Slovenian international Aleksander Knavs. The Tirol Innsbruck player is 28 years old and played for Slovenia during Euro 2000, coming on as a sub in the 0-0 draw with Norway. He has 23 international caps and is likely to cost Town around the £1.5 million mark. Previously he had interested Leeds, however at the time there was a problem with him getting a work permit. Whether this will affect Town is something that will become evident should the deal go ahead.
