Armstrong Killie Link - Ipswich Town News
Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock are the latest club to be linked with out of favour Town striker Alun Armstrong. The 28-year-old was watched by Killie boss Jim Jefferies playing in last night's reserves game against Portsmouth.
Jefferies sat next to Joe Royle but saw only 23 minutes of action from Armstrong. The former Stockport and Boro man left the field with a lower back injury.
Armstrong, whose Town contract is up in the summer, is looking for a permanent move away from Portman Road but is less keen on a loan spell.
