Reserves Side for Chelsea - Ipswich Town News
Town have announced the reserves side facing Chelsea at Portman Road this evening. As expected Alan Mahon starts and will be looking to impress head of Saturday's trip to former loan club Cardiff City.
John McGreal, Alun Armstrong and Tommy Miller are the other senior players involved.
Chelsea's reserves, coached by ex-Town boss John Lyall's former assistant Mick McGiven, are unlikely to field too many of their stars as their first team faces Sparta Prague this evening.
Reserves: Lewis Price, Chris Hogg, Scott Barron, John McGreal, Aidan Collins, Nabil Abidallah, Tommy Miller, Scott Mitchell, Alan Mahon, Dean Bowditch, Alun Armstrong. Subs: Sam Morrow, Shane Supple, Daniel Flack, James Krause and Liam Craig.
