Santos Improving - Ipswich Town News
Defender Georges Santos says his foot injury is improving and looks more likely to be in the Town side which lines up against Cardiff on Saturday. The Frenchman picked up the knock during last weekend's 3-0 victory over his former club Sheffield United.
Santos was rated as less than 50/50 earlier in the week but told the club site that he's on the mend: "The foot feels a lot better this morning and I will take part in training with the rest of the lads later today.
"Hopefully, if it goes well I will be OK to play against Cardiff."
If he fails to make it John McGreal is likely to take over at centre-half for the first time this season.
