Pullen Joins Peterborough - Ipswich Town News
Keeper James Pullen has permanently joined loan club Peterborough United on a free transfer. The former Heybridge Swifts stopper has signed a two-year deal after spending a month at London Road.
Although Pullen is yet to make a first team appearance manager Barry Fry has been impressed with the 21-year-old: "I am delighted to sign him for this and next year.
"It is a long time since we had a senior goalkeeper to push Mark Tyler and now we have two good young goalkeepers, as well as an outstanding youngster in Luke McShane."
Pullen joined the Blues from Heybridge Swifts in the summer of 1999, making two senior appearances during his time at Portman Road. Earlier in the season he spent a month on loan at Dagenham and Redbridge.
