Town coach Tony Mowbray is reported to be interesting managerless Scottish side Partick Thistle. The Premier League club sacked boss Gerry Collins at the weekend.
Mowbray has made no sectret of his desire to manage a club, however Partick look an unappetising prospect, currently bottom of the SPL with just two points from 14 games.
Jags' chief executive Alan Dick says he wants to fill the vacancy as soon as possible with December 13th their target.
