Mitchell in Squad - Ipswich Town News

Young defender Scott Mitchell has been added to the Town squad with the Blues having injury doubts over Fabian Wilnis and Richard Naylor.

Wilnis has a hamstring problem while Naylor required lengthy treatment for a foot injury during the second half at Forest.

The Dutchman is considered a bigger doubt than the central defender.

Spanish front man Pablo Couñago returns to the Town party after his recent hamstring injury.

Striker Dean Bowditch is back in the squad after being left out at Forest due to his involvement in the FA Youth Cup match on Monday.

Georges Santos misses out due to a one-match suspension having amassed five bookings. John McGreal looks likely to make his first appearance of the season.

Squad: Bart-Williams, Bent, Bowditch, Couñago, Davis, Kuqi, Magilton, Mahon, McGreal, Miller, Mitchell, Naylor, Price, Reuser, Richards, Westlake, Wilnis and Wright.
