Joe to Make Cup Changes - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle says that he will use the third round FA Cup tie against Derby County as a chance to give one or two of his fringe players a run-out. Coincidentally, the Blues defeated the Rams 2-1 at Portman Road on Saturday.
Royle said: "I see this cup tie as a chance to give one or two players a game, who have not been regulars.
"Of course, we will be treating the FA Cup very seriously. It's very important for the club financially, but I am planning to make one or two changes. We know all about Derby, having played them twice recently.
