Marshall Loan Extension? - Ipswich Town News
Wolves boss Dave Jones is keen to extend Andy Marshall's loan by a further month. The stopper made his debut for the Midlands side against Arsenal in the Carling Cup last week, a game they lost 5-1.
Jones is set to talk to Joe Royle this week about the extension, but will also have to get permission from the FA regarding lengthening Marshall's spell at Molineux.
Wolves were only allowed to take him for the first month after being given special dispensation to bring in a keeper outside of the transfer window by the FA.
A foot injury to Matt Murray meant Dave Jones needed to bring in another stopper as cover for Michael Oakes.
An extension to Marshall's loan would be good news for the Blues with Wolves paying a proportion of his wages while he is with them.
A permanent move looks less likely with Cameroonian Carlos Kameni likely to move to Molineux when the transfer window opens in January.
