Op for Makin? - Ipswich Town News
Full-back Chris Makin may have to undergo an exploratory operation after the latest in a series of scans failed to shed any more light on his mystery hip/thigh injury.
Town boss Joe Royle suspects it is a nerve problem: "There have been no developments from the latest scan which probably means a nerve involvement.
"Chris will give it another week to get going, and hopefully things will move on, otherwise an exploratory operation night be needed."
Makin has been out of the first team picture since limping off in the 2-1 home loss to West Ham at the end of August.
