Kuqi's Brother on Trial - Ipswich Town News
Town have revealed that they are taking Shefki Kuqi's younger brother Njazi on trial. Njazi, 20, will join Swedish trialist Eric Sundin in Town first-team training for a few days while Joe Royle and his management assess them.
Njazi, a striker, plays for FC Lahti but is looking for a move to England and has already spent spells with Manchester City and Barnsley. Bizarrely, the Finn wears the number 99 shirt for his current club.
Joe Royle told the club site that Café Opera midfielder Sundin was recommended to him by one of his old Everton players: "I saw Anders Limpar at a dinner recently and he asked me if he could send Sundin over for a trial.
"He will be with us for a few days and we will have a look at him and it will be the same with Shefki's brother."
