Morrow and Hogg to Boston - Ipswich Town News
Youngsters Sam Morrow and Chris Hogg have agreed to join Boston United on a month's loan. Midfielder Matt Bloomfield, also a target of the Pilgrims, has turned down a temporary switch to York Street.
England U19 defender Hogg has already spent a month with the side managed by former Blue Neil Thompson, and is likely to make a permanent move if he continues to impress.
Northern Irish striker Sam Morrow, 18, made his senior debut for Town in the Carling Cup against Notts County earlier this season. Like Hogg he has been capped at various youth levels.
Hogg, 18, and Bloomfield, 19, were recently offered free transfers by boss Joe Royle due to their lack of first team opportunities.
Bloomfield has been linked with Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County, while early in the year Newcastle attempted to take him to St James' Park as part of a triple deal involving Darren Ambrose and Darren Bent.
Hogg and Morrow's Town contracts are up in June 2005 while Bloomfield's deal ends next summer.
