Johnson to be Dropped - Ipswich Town News
As many fans expected it seems certain that Town striker David Johnson will be on the bench for Town's match at Leeds on Saturday. The top scorer for the last three seasons will be replaced by Marcus Stewart who found the net when coming on as a sub last Saturday. Johnson has failed to score on his last eight appearances for Town this season and last.
Meanwhile Richard Naylor continues his recovery and will travel to Leeds with the first team at the weekend, although he will not take any part in the match. Whether his presence for the match in his home town is related to any lack of petrol on the club's part and the possible necessity to find somewhere to stay is not known.
