Town striker Sam Morrow made his league debut as a late sub for loan club Boston United on Saturday. Fellow loanee Chris Hogg was in the Boston starting line-up.
Northern Irishman Morrow came on in the 85th minute of the Pilgrims' 1-1 draw with Northampton.
The 18-year-old made his senior debut for the Blues in the Carling Cup tie at Notts County and sees his spell at Boston as a chance to gain league experience.
Morrow and Hogg are on one month loans at Neil Thompson's club, with Hogg all but certain to sign permanently on a free transfer once Boston have the cash to offer him a contract.
