Surgery for Makin - Ipswich Town News
Town full-back Chris Makin will be out of action for another two months as he requires surgery on his thigh injury. The problem has kept him on the sidelines since August with the mystery injury baffling experts.
He has seen a number of specialists and has had an injection in the main nerve but nothing has resolved the problem.
The 30-year-old former Sunderland, Oldham and Marseille player will have the surgery in the next couple of days with aim of the operation to release a troublesome nerve.
Makin is not likely to be back in action until late February.
