Joe: Scoreline Harsh - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle felt his side were unfortunate to lose 2-0 to Norwich City in the East Anglian derby, but has suggested he will make a change or two when the Blues face West Ham on Boxing Day.
Royle felt that Kelvin Davis was impeded by Paul McVeigh in the build-up to the Canaries' first goal: "I thought it was a foul but we are not making an issue of it and the referee had a good game overall.
"Norwich defended very well and gave a good away performance.
"We were not on our game at all but having said that, they only had two efforts at goal so I think the scoreline was harsh.
"Darren Bent had a good chance and Alan Mahon's freekick was well saved by their keeper, who played well throughout.
"We have looked a little stale and predictable over the last two games and we will look at that for the next match.”
