Alun off to Bradford? - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed that Bradford City have made a loan enquiry regarding striker Alun Armstrong. The former Middlesbrough player is currently not involved with the first team and is out of contract in the summer.
Club chairman David Sheepshanks confirmed the interest: "An enquiry about Alun has been made by Bradford City and I'm still in discussion with their chairman."
It is likely that should he move to Valley Parade the Bantams would pay some of his wages, which would be more good news for Town as they seek to tie-up the permanent signing of Alan Mahon.
Armstrong was not involved in the Town squad for Sunday's game as he recently picked up a bad gash to the leg in a reserve match. He is expected to be back in action again in a week.
