Town boss Joe Royle says that he doesn't expect to make any moves in the loan market until the end of the month. Royle says that he has made one serious enquiry but that it is currently on hold.
The Town manager says he has received no interest in any of his players since the transfer window opened for Premiership clubs: "We've had no enquiries from anyone and I've made no enquiries for anybody today. I've got nothing in the pipeline and nothing will be happening before this weekend.
"I think towards the end of the month will be a better time, once all the Premier clubs have sorted themselves out and they'll know who they've got to keep and who will be available.
"The one serious enquiry I have made was dependent on movement within that club and there hasn't been any yet. If something happens there it will be towards the end of the month."
Royle was giving few other clues, although given an erroneous report linking Charlton's Chris Powell earlier in the week, he added that he wasn't looking for cover in Powell's position: "It isn't a left-back.”
