Striker Darren Bent will miss Saturday's visit to Reading after failing to recover from the foot injury he sustained during last weekend's 3-0 FA Cup win against Derby County.
Town will take 16 players to the Madejski Stadium, with Shefki Kuqi and Pablo Couñago set to start up front.
