Duo's Clash Played Down - Ipswich Town News
Jim Magilton and Shefki Kuqi have played down their confrontation shortly after the final whistle at Reading on Saturday. The pair had to be restrained by team-mates as tempers flared after the 1-1 draw.
Kuqi says that the matter has subsequently been sorted out: "We had a bit of a conversation that was borne out of frustration. Everything is fine now, no problem.”
Magilton similarly dismissed the spat: "There is absolutely nothing to it. Shefki and I had a little pat on the back, that's all.”
Manager Joe Royle is evidently not taking the incident too seriously either, describing it as "a bit of male bonding”.
