Royle's Waiting Game - Ipswich Town News
Town Boss Joe Royle has said he's hoping to hear from a number of clubs regarding the availability of two players and has made additional enquires on a further two players.
"I might get a call today, it might be in two weeks' time, or it might never come. There is no way of knowing at this stage.
"A lot depends on other clubs and what they are planning to do during the January transfer window.”
While he didn't specify what form these transfers could take, it's highly likely they would be loan moves.
He's also heard nothing of the rumours circulating concerning the permanent transfer of former loanee Alan Mahon to Reading. Graeme Souness had assured Royle that he would keep him informed after his premature end to his successful loan at Town.
