Bent Injury Not Serious - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Darren Bent has received a boost after scans showed that his ankle injury is not serious. The England U21 had x-rays last week after picking up the problem in the 3-0 FA Cup win against Derby.
Boss Joe Royle told the club site: "Darren has had some scans done on his ankle and there is no fracture or anything like that.
"He will wear a support for four or five days to keep the ankle immobilised and then we will take it from there.
"The good thing about Darren is that as soon as he is clear from injury he needs little time in training to be match fit because his fitness levels are so high."
