Joe: Loanee Likely Soon - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle says that a new loanee could be brought in as soon as this week. Royle revealed last week that he had made two enquiries regarding a new loan man, probably a winger to replace the departed Alan Mahon.
Royle says he is expecting the phone to ring: "I'm waiting for a call. Things have progressed and there's a possibility, more than a probability, that we'll have a new face with us this week.
"He's a player I have been pursuing for some time. We need to bring in someone to underpin our promotion ambitions, which are big. We mean business."
