Coppell Refuses Comment - Ipswich Town News
Reading manager Steve Coppell has refused to comment on reports claiming Town are interested in taking Shaun Goater on a three-month loan, although he does imply that he has spoken with Joe Royle on the matter.
Asked about Town's reported interest Coppell said: "A private conversation between managers should remain private."
The Reading boss may decide to allow Goater to go as he is looking to bring in new players and the Bermudian is one of the highest-paid members of his squad.
