Goater Enquiry Confirmed - Ipswich Town News

Joe Royle has today confirmed that he has made an enquiry for Reading striker Shaun Goater.

Talking to the Club site Joe said: "Yes, there has been dialogue between myself and Steve Coppell about Shaun but he is not the only player we have enquired about."

Reading have a number of options up front and the rumoured three month loan could significantly lighten the Royals' wage bill as he's said to be one of the club's highest earners.
