Town's youngsters have a chance to go one better than their first team counterparts this evening, when they face Sunderland in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup at Portman Road (KO 7pm).
Dean Bowditch and Scott Mitchell are the only players involved in tonight's game with senior experience, Aidan Collins missing out due to suspension and Gerard Nash out for the season after having a cruciate knee ligament operation.
If they beat the Black Cats the Town youngsters will face Crewe Alexandra or Cirencester Town in the next round of the prestigious under-18 tournament.
