Joe Continues Loan Hunt - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle is continuing his search for new loanees and says he could well bring in a new man next week.
Royle says that despite having a bid turned down earlier this week he still has targets: "There's a possibility of someone coming in next week.
"There's a short-list of people I've enquired about, all with Premier League clubs, and I'm not going to compromise that just for the sake of bringing somebody in, as we're not at that stage.
"I'll ask the same question again next week and remind one or two people.”
Despite the Premiership transfer window being extended to Monday, Royle is not expecting any movement: "We've had no offers for anybody and I'm not looking for any.”
Royle denied any knowledge of Tromsø's Hungarian striker Peter Kovacs, claimed to be interesting the Blues by his agent in the Norwegian press last week.
