Irish Lads in Action - Ipswich Town News
Four of Town's Irish youngsters were in action for the Republic of Ireland U17 side last night at the Copa del Atlantico competition in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.
The Irish drew 1-1 with Italy in their opening game, their goal coming from Liverpool's John Paul Kelly.
The youngsters face Spain in their second game this evening and play a Canary Islands XI in their final match on Friday.
Goalkeeper Shane Supple, full-back Michael Synnott and striker Billy Clarke all started the game, while midfielder Cathal Lordan came on as a late sub.
