Mahon Joins Wigan - Ipswich Town News
Former Town loanee Alan Mahon has joined Wigan Athletic from Blackburn for a fee thought to be in the region of £750,000. The Irishman has gone straight into the Latics squad for Saturday's visit to Portman Road.
Mahon became a cult hero at Portman Road during his loan spell earlier in the season. The 25-year-old made 12 appearances for Town and scored one goal before being recalled to Ewood Park just prior to Christmas.
