Town's U19s lost 2-0 away at Southampton on Saturday morning.
The academy side were under-strength with the club's four Irish U17s still away at the Copa del Atlantico competition in the Canary Islands.
Three of the four Town men were involved in Ireland's final game against the hosts, which they lost 1-0.
Midfielder Cathal Lordan, Ireland's scorer in the 1-1 draw with Spain on Wednesday, started along with full-back Michael Synnott, while striker Billy Clarke was a second half sub.
Keeper Shane Supple played in the first game of the tournament, a 1-1 draw with Italy.
