Armstrong Return? - Ipswich Town News

Town manager Joe Royle has not ruled out loan striker Alun Armstrong being involved for his side in Saturday's home game with Bradford. Armstrong's loan with the Bantams has been suspended as he is not allowed to play against the Blues and he could be on Town's bench.

Royle admitted that Armstrong has an outside chance of being involved: "It is unlikely that Alun would play but I'm not saying he definitely won't be. We will look at things over the next couple of days and take it from there."

Armstrong has scored one goal in seven games since moving to Valley Parade just after Christmas.

Bradford have solved their goalkeeper problems by signing Birmingham stopper Nico Vaesen on loan ahead of Saturday. They are without the suspended Alan Combe and injured Mark Paston.
