Bent Double! - Ipswich Town News
Darren Bent, the Town Academy striker, starred as the England U16s beat Ireland at Walsall's Bescot Stadium last Friday.
The Blues youngster scored two goals, one in each half and might have had a hat-trick before he was withdrawn on the hour.
Despite still being young enough to play for England's U16 side Bent has already represented the reserves, coming on as sub in the match with Leicester at the end of last month.
