Stockdale Bid Fails - Ipswich Town News
The Town boss Joe Royle is continuing his loan search and has revealed he had a bid for Middlesbrough's Robbie Stockdale turned down last week. The Blues will go into Saturday's game at home to Bradford with no new faces in their squad.
Regarding Stockdale, Royle says: "I did make a call to inquire about his availability but I didn't take it any further than that.”
The Town manager added: "I keep speaking to the same people but they keep giving me the same answers. We're still looking for the same small number of players, and I couldn't say I was stepping up or widening the search.”
