Town After Murphy? - Ipswich Town News
Town are being linked with a loan move for a second Middlesbrough full-back, youngster David Murphy. Earlier today Joe Royle admitted he had made an enquiry regarding fellow Boro man Robbie Stockdale.
Murphy is a 19-year-old left-back who has made 16 full appearances and has scored one goal. He is highly-rated at the Teesside club but wants to make a short-term switch to regain his fitness after a foot injury.
The source of the story appears to be his agent Steven Denos, who also acts for Stockdale. He says he expects the youngster to make a move soon: "A number of clubs are interested and should get something within the next few weeks."
