Makin No Progress - Ipswich Town News
Long-term injury victim Chris Makin is looking more and more likely to require another operation on the hip problem which has kept him out of the side since August. The former Sunderland man had an injection last week but boss Joe Royle says that little progress has been evident.
Royle told the club site: "Chris had the injection but the signs are not promising at the moment, unfortunately.
"He still has a few days more before he sees the specialist but at the moment it looks at though Chris might need further surgery."
Another operation would keep the experienced full-back out for the season and may cause Joe Royle to step up his search for a defensive loanee.
