Nash on Way Back - Ipswich Town News
Irish central defender Gerard Nash has started progress towards getting back in action after his recent cruciate knee ligament operation. Nash is out for the season after picking up the injury towards the end of last year.
Physio Dave Williams told the club site that the 17-year-old is doing well: "The specialists are happy with the way Gerard is recovering.
"The operation went fine with no complications and now it's about working his way back with a lot of physio work and a lot of patience.
"He will continue to have his progress monitored by the specialists and at the moment it looks like he will be back in light training in July or August.
"It will be probably be September before he can return to full training with the first-team."
