Morrow Handed Free - Ipswich Town News
Northern Irish striker Sam Morrow has been handed the chance to leave on a free transfer. The 18-year-old made his debut for the first team in the Carling Cup match at Notts County earlier in the season.
Town manager Joe Royle says Morrow has not developed as the club had hoped: "Sam has not progressed as much as we would have liked and we have decided to give him a free transfer."
Earlier this season he had a loan spell with Boston but his spell was cut short after he went home to Northern Ireland for Christmas without permission.
Morrow is contracted with Town until June 2005.
