Loan Could Still Happen - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle says that he can still land his loan target despite the mystery man initially turning down the chance to switch to Portman Road.
Royle says the potential temporary signing wants to get over a knock before making his final decision: "The player has had a slight injury and he just wants to be sure he is OK.
"I definitely think there is still a chance. We're still closer than we have been for some time and I really thought we were there yesterday."
Royle is also looking at two more loan options, although these are only likely to become serious targets if the current deal breaks down completely.
