Dale Tribute Dinner - Ipswich Town News
Ex-Sunderland boss Peter Reid will be a guest speaker at a sporting dinner in memory of former Town assistant boss Dale Roberts, who died just over a year ago.
The dinner, being held at the County Hotel, Copdock on Monday, April 26th, is the first of a number of fundraising events organised by a committee of Dale's friends including ex-Town boss George Burley.
Reid will speak along with local comic Micky Zany.
Tickets for the three-course dinner and auction are now on sale at £40 from the club via Maureen MacMillan on 07736 429405 or 01473 652647.
A testimonial game for Dale is also being arranged with Newcastle United tipped to be the Blues' opponents.
