Makin Faces Surgery - Ipswich Town News
Town defender Chris Makin will have an exploratory thigh operation next week. Makin saw a specialist regarding his long-term injury on Friday.
The former Sunderland, Oldham and Marseille full-back has not played first team football since limping off in the home game with West Ham back in August.
Makin had an operation and then a painkilling injection but managed only 45 minutes of his latest comeback reserve game two weeks ago.
The 30-year-old, out of contract with Town in the summer, looks unlikely to play any further part in Town's play-off challenge this season.
