Barron Signs Deal - Ipswich Town News
Full-back or midfielder Scott Barron has become the latest academy player to sign a professional contract with Town. Barron was on the bench for Tuesday night's 3-1 win at Walsall, having been handed the number 26 shirt at the end of last week.
Barron has particularly impressed in the reserves this season after switching to left-back from midfield.
By bizarre coincidence the 18-year-old shares a birthdate - 2nd September, 1985 - with fellow academy players Scott Mitchell, who also signed a professional contract recently, and Daniel Flack.
