Santos Talks Continue - Ipswich Town News
Talks between Georges Santos and Watford are set to continue after the Blues gave permission for the central defender to speak to the Hornets yesterday. Ironically, Santos is likely to face Watford's reserves at Portman Road on Wednesday night (KO 7pm).
Town boss Joe Royle told the club site: "Both Georges and Watford are considering their positions at the moment.
"Watford are definitely interested and talks are ongoing but there is no mad rush to sort everything out right now.
"As it stands, Georges will play for the reserves on Wednesday, as will Drissa Diallo, Alun Armstrong and Chris Bart-Williams."
