U19s Face Foxes - Ipswich Town News
Town's U19s face Leicester City's kids on Saturday at the Foxes' Belvoir Drive training ground (KO noon).
The Blues youngsters currently sit in eighth place in their nine-team Premier Academy League group and will not qualify for the play-offs.
Town's U19s has been weakened all season by the reduction in players at the club over the last couple of years. With most of the U19s regulars in the reserves - and star man Dean Bowditch in the first team - much younger players have been fielded throughout the season.
Next week's home match with Birmingham is the last league game of the season.
